Silicone Elastomers Technology & Fabrication

Presented by a panel of experts in the silicone field, this is designed for all levels of experienced rubber technologist, rubber chemists, process engineers, laboratory managers, supervisors, technicians, shop foremen, quality assurance managers and engineering. Onsite training to learn the process of liquid silicone injection molding is done hands-on. The "Mel" Team (in fond memory of Mel Toub) instructs from the floor of the molding shop. This takes what is learned in classroom to valuable applied knowledge for students of our course.

The event in 2026 was hailed as a great success by attendees. Overall scores for the class were well above 90% and it was particularly noticed that the hands on training at MR Mold and Engineering on day three captured the classes attention and brought the lecture material to practice.
